A huge car caravan rally in support of Democratic Assembly District 30 candidate Somnath Ghimire was successfully held on Monday in Queens, New York. Organized ahead of the June 23 Democratic primary election day, the event featured dozens of vehicles decorated with campaign banners, posters, and promotional materials. The rally aimed to deliver the campaign’s message directly to voters across the district and energize supporters ahead of Election Day.
According to the organizers, the rally was designed to unite voters from diverse backgrounds, particularly immigrant and minority communities, and encourage them to support a candidate who they believe will effectively represent their interests. Community leaders, business owners, activists, volunteers, and residents from various ethnic communities participated in the event, demonstrating a broad coalition of support.

The caravan began at 69th Street and traveled through key neighborhoods and major routes, including Grand Avenue, Queens Boulevard and Jackson Heights, before concluding at Diversity Plaza. Dozens of cars and motorcycles formed a visible procession throughout the district, attracting attention from residents and passersby. The event concluded with a public gathering and brief remarks from supporters at Diversity Plaza.
As the election approaches, Ghimire’s campaign activity has become increasingly visible across the district. Support from voters, community organizations, political groups, business leaders, and volunteers has continued to grow in recent weeks. Observers note that his outreach efforts among immigrant communities, young voters, and diverse ethnic groups have significantly expanded, contributing to growing campaign momentum.
